Strategic designer with over a decade of experience in design, marketing communications, and digital product development. Worked across startups and global brands, leading projects from zero-to-one to growth stages. Proud recipient of Red Dot and Good Design awards for work with Shiseido and KDDI.
Background:
Previously a Service Design Manager at Accenture, driving service innovation across beauty, telecom, finance, and blockchain industries.
In 2023, Asako relocated to the Netherlands and founded Design Guilds, specializing in branding and marketing for sustainable businesses, including plant-based restaurants and Japanese dining experiences.
She is passionate about promoting sustainability initiatives through research, brand design and communication. In 2024, she conducted inclusive design research through a co-supervision project between Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) and Keio University.
